They are certainly great especially for air travel. I recently updated to the newest Bose headset and was a bit disappointed at the lack of features compared to what Sony offered. I returned them and bought the Sony. Everyone has different sound preferences, but to me the Sony sounded a bit better and have more features at the same price point. They even seemed more durable. Also, no proprietary Bose connectors. Great case. I think Bose has fallen behind in keeping up their innovation over the last few years. Perhaps success has caused them to think they don’t need to keep up with the market and rely on name only.

The battery is really good. The noise cancellation and mics are top class. Someone looking for premium headphones can go for these. I think the main con will be the speak to chat. I was struggling with some noise issues at home as well as at work; the in-ear buds I had been wearing were starting to cause some pain in my ears so my sister suggested these headphones since her husband had the older model and had sung their praises. The price tag was a little daunting but I decided to go for it - and I don't regret it one bit! I haven't completely mastered the controls yet, but I can turn the noise cancelling on and off and that's the biggest thing for me. For work, sitting around the house, and travelling, I highly recommend!

I had decided on these after comparing reviews, specs and details on these, the Solo Pros and Bose headphones. One of their best features in conjunction with the noise control is the sliding scale that can let’s you choose how much background noise you’re comfortable with in any given situation. You’re also able to connect to several Bluetooth situations at once which I love. The only thing holding me back, to be perfectly honest, was the price so I kept my eye on them waiting for a solid sale price and I’m glad I did!

The Ultimate Test Luther Vandross - Evergreen, Impossible Dream and of course Superstar (Live). Wow found app setting on the equalizer "Voice" it reduces the instruments and elevates the vocals - Simply Smooth; Take it to another level set the EQ on "Excited ." Prepare to be blown away. They run close with the Jabra but because the are over the ear better reduction of noise.

Use them at the gym no problem. Use them while mowing no problem. Used at the office for some quiet time excellent. Used while gaming, the two connected devices comes in clutch for this.
