Great high end head phones

Only negatives are they do not fold down like the xm4s and xm6s and can get greasy quite easily

It tugs on my scalp so that's a no brainer. Returned. If only they kept the xm4 fit and design combined w this lighter weight and tech. The beam mic and ai voice processing tech is incredible. The noise cancellation on the mic is possibly better than xm4 but I think Bose voice isolation is better because I tested w music on the soundbar and no one could hear blasting on zoom while I talked! Just use Sony in a quiet setting and way more crystal clear than Bose.

We’re sorry to hear the WH-1000XM5 wasn't the right fit for you. We redesigned this model with a slimmer "noiseless" headband to reduce weight, but we understand that the different distribution of pressure can feel less comfortable for some compared to the fold-flat design of the XM4.
It’s great to hear you put our AI-based voice pickup technology to the test! We take a lot of pride in that "crystal clear" vocal clarity, and it’s helpful to know how it performed for you on Zoom compared to other brands. Since I bought my headphone I am using it almost every day morning when I'm walking, in kitchen when I'm cooking and night when I sleep. I am in love with it and it is worth it every penny!

Worth the money

The sound quality is so crisp and the ANC really helps make my commute seamless with how noisy the metro can get. Sony took the best-selling, highly rated XM4s, and did the impossible: they made this successor twice as good. The ANC is *phenomenal.* The fit, finish, mic array, comfort, adjustability, bass response, smartphone integration and app control = truly amazing. Multiple piercings approved!

The cups don’t irritate or put pressure on your earrings. I love these, my only complaint is I wish the band had better cushioning. The top of my head gets sore after listening for a couple hours and doesn’t go away for a while.

Please make sure to wear the headset properly. Adjust the length of the slider and orientation of the left and right units so that the earpads fit snugly all around your ears. If you put on the headset without adjusting the slider, the headset may not be positioned properly on your head, resulting in discomfort or a weak noise canceling effect. The sound is great quality and the noise cancelation works great they dont fold but the swivel motion avaliable to "flip up or down" the headphones. The battery life is exceptional unless i blatantly leave them on hy accident i always have about 60% even with continuous prolonged use. (Airport overnight)

I can activate and deactivate the noise cancelling so I never have to take them off. Worth the money. Wish they could have ear pieces that I could wear while working out, it’s the only thing missing

I triethe new bose orior to buying these and took the Sonys instead due to their natural acurate sound. Bise are good too but these are a complete package. Sony's design team really deserve high praise for pulling of a timeless, simple, beautiful, elegant and understated design. This is hard to do. I cannot and will not buy anything else other than Sony, i am completely sold.

Perfect for any situation

Going on about 8 months with them. Love the fact that they are comfortable, can connect to work & personal phone or whatever 2 devices. Easy to clean. I sweat a lot @ the gym and and have no issues with cleaning them with a baby wipe/damp towel every time. Noise Canceling is great! 9/10. With NC off it's perfect for sound and being able to walk aware of your surroundings. Battery like is A1, I use them about 8 hours a day and can't remember a time they have every ran out. Charging is quick. Will Def buy these again or newer model hopefully when they no longer work.

Pricey but so worth it

I bought these as a replace to the lower tier version I lost on vacation. Pricey but worth it. Love the noise canceling and how it stops when it hears you speak. The music sounds really clear, really good sound quality. I'm in love with the color and shape of the headphones, very aesthetic, and the case is super useful. Also like the fact that it has a headphone jack, perfect for flights. Haven't tried the 360 reality audio yet, but I've read that you have to pay for an app to have that so I don't think that's something I'll do. Overall in love with these, no problems so far, and so it's worth the money.
