The sound cancellation is phenomenal not too mention the durability. I’ve had mine for a couple years and I’ve only charged them a handful of times. Very efficient and worth the price.

Sound amazing, lightweight, however... it comes with its problems. For one, you cannot use it while charging, you need to download the app and change annoying settings like the headphones turning off if you lift one of the ears up, touch controls you have to disable in the app and also if your hair lays over the touch controls good luck with that. You'll want to change the EQ from standard or make your own with their guide. 8/10 headphones all around. 9/10 sound quality 7/10 build quality/design

I’ve had these for about a year and it still works perfectly. Amazing for the gym, doesn’t slip off and fast to dry. The noise cancellation is insane and doesn’t hurt my head after a while of using them.

They are the absolute best in this segment. You put them on, and you are put into your own world. I was on the fence about them for a few months and bought them before a 14 hour flight and they are the best. Super comfortable and most importantly to me the sound quality is like nothing I've heard before. The noise canceling also blocks out everything from the outside.

It even reduces enough noise with nothing playing that I sometimes use them without music and video. Sound is excellent once I played with the EQ settings. Very comfortable even as someone with glasses. Complaints: App could be better. A lot of options are unnecessary and the menu is cluttered. Would be nice to able to customize touch gestures. Would also be nice to set level of noise cancelling instead of it just being adaptive. Also wish they folded & had a better case. Some water resistance like the earbuds would also be nice.

Invisible mode is fantastic, cell phone call quality is great. ANC has a little to be desired for me, but I think I was expecting too much of the technology. My family plays lullaby music through the house at night and I expected to not be able to hear that through the ANC, but I still can. When consistent audio is playing the sound stage is fantastic and you can't really hear your surroundings, its the quiet moments you can though. Was awesome watching a movie on the airplane with these.

The new, streamlined XM5 design was developed to achieve a sleeker look and enhance the overall noise cancellation performance by maximizing the space for internal components, like the new processor and microphones. While they no longer fold inward, they still collapse flat into a thin carrying case, which was redesigned to be more durable and feature a magnetic flap for accessories.

While the sound quality is good and the noise cancellation is solid, the overall comfort and usability fell short for me. The new design looks sleek, but the headphones feel awkward after extended use — the headband padding isn’t as comfortable as expected, and the ear cups felt a bit too snug. Also, for a premium product, the touch controls can be overly sensitive and frustrating to use. Battery life is decent, but nothing groundbreaking compared to older models. Honestly, I preferred the XM4s in terms of comfort and value. For the price, I just expected a more refined experience. These might work for some, but they didn’t meet my expectations.

If you are considering them for workouts, they did not work well for me. Due to the soft fit, they tend to slip off constantly during gym training. However, it is hard to call this a downside, as these headphones are not positioned as workout or gym headphones. Overall, I am very satisfied with them.

The noise cancelation is CRAZY. I like that with the adaptive sound control you can customize how much gets filtered out. Only two downsides for this headphone: it's pricey $50 more than the previous gen headphones, and I really wish the band that goes over your head wasn't so small. I wish it were a bit wider. The padding on it is good, i just wish it wasn't a small round one. If it were a wider one it would be perfect.
