The sound quality and isolation is amazing. Not quite at the Airpod Max level - but impressive nonetheless! The touch controls on the right ear up by itself makes these an intriguing option to consider when looking for a high quality, excellent sounding pair of headphones! I’m glad to have received these over the holidays!

Overall great headphones

I can honestly say that i am extremely happy with these. The noise cancellation is amazing. The sound quality is clear and not over bass heavy. Has a great case and comes with all needed accessories.

Great headphones but not for me

It’s annoying.

I originanly boguht them to try them out and to see if they were worth the big price, but let me say, every cent is worth it! Ive never used such premium sounding headphones that are worth the money! I love the fact they sound wonderful, the amazing noise counseling, and even the fact I can connect them to my gaming console with the cord that comes with them, and listen to my video games! Song is where it’s at!

Replacing my XM4s

So I decided to get the XM5s on sale and they are just as good, if not better than the XM4s. The headphones sound great and aesthetically pleasing. I wouldn't necessarily upgrade from the XM4, but if you don't have either, go ahead and grab the XM5. You won't regret it!

Amazing sound, horrible build quality

I’ve spent entire workdays with then on and never felt like I needed to take them off. Unfortunately, the weak hinge snapped on me out of nowhere and the headphones have become unusable. Apparently, this is an incredibly common issue with these headphones that Sony refuses to acknowledge. I wanted to love these headphones, but its not worth the money for less than two years of usage. Sony needs to fix this build issue on their next headphones and acknowledge the mistake on the XM5s.

Amazing sound quality

I had the xm3 and just bought the xm5s. Way better noise cancelling that i love the most and the call quality is perfect. I took a phone call with lawnmower noise in the backtound and my sister said she could hear me perfect and clear. So two thumbs up for that. Lasty the sound quality is amazing as expected like my xm3s. So five stars for sure.
