To get the absolute best noise cancellation performance tailored to your environment, we highly recommend opening the Sony Sound Connect app and disabling the Adaptive Sound Control feature. This will stop the headphones from automatically shifting modes based on your movement, allowing you to manually maximize and personalize the noise cancelling to your exact liking.
