Very nice headphones

The sound and noise-cancelling were great. They were able to cancel almost all of the airplane noise, crying kids, etc. And the app allows you to customize the equalizer type of sound levels you prefer. The battery life was amazing also. After each flight using these headphones almost continuously for 7-8 hours, the battery was still above 80%. It was nice to have an included cable to connect to the standard 3.5mm audio output for the in-seat entertainment, plus being able to Bluetooth to my cell phone. Lastly, these were very comfortable. I was surprised how light they were. I'm not an audiophile, but I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend them.

They also feel really good and are really stylish; even the carrying case is cool. These are our 1st pair of Sony headphones and so far so great! I hope they stand the test of time. You can put your hand on the right side of the headphone for temporary talk to someone without having to remove your headphone from your head. And many other features. Very light. The only negative thing is the carrying case which is bulky and won't fit easy in a carry on luggage.

LOVE THEM. (I also got a bluetooth transmitter so I can be wireless when watching a movie on the plane’screen.

I originanly boguht them to try them out and to see if they were worth the big price, but let me say, every cent is worth it! Ive never used such premium sounding headphones that are worth the money! Those are things that the reviews of these headphones do get pretty right in my opinion. The sound needs a bit of balancing before they are perfect but it's pretty good out of the box. The travel case is super nice and the software side, so far, has not had any issues. I will say the full $400 is a tad much but if you can get it for $300 or lower, especially now that the XM6's are out, I would say these are a good buy.

A Sony Headphone Must Have

He was knowledgeable about both products and, in the end, I was sold on the Sony. I think I got the best deal. The sound is awesome and just what I wanted.

I noticed a beeping sound when I first bought it during listening. All you have to do is change the toggle where it switches automatically. The headphones are trying to automatically adjust to ambient and noise canceling. I took that off now what ever I do im in controll of the sound And no beeping.
