However out of the box you will need to play with the eq to get the perfect sound for you. Noise cancellation is really great on this compared to my old bose.

Doesn't block everything out but I don't think that technology exists yet. Using the noise canceling while listening to music makes me feel like I'm in a soundproof room within the office.

Superb noise cancelation

The speaker wuality is good too. I would say when i turn the bass up very loud at all it makes a funny pop sound. I listen to a lot of metal so the kickdrum sounds funny.
