    The only thing the XM5s have going for them is they sound wonderful. Not comfortable for long wearing. The headband is the deal breaker. They look cheap. Every iteration of these looks cheap. They compete with Bose. Really is no other competition for them. Bottom line: they look cheap and the headband is just awful. Multi-billion dollar industry and some engineer(s) decided to put a very narrow round headband on these headphones. Can you say "pressure point" boys and girls? Sure you can.

    Had these Sony for no more than 7 months and it went out with the wires first coming out where you adjust the length. Then it stopped working. I didn't have protection . It was good while it last.
