I tried to figure how I could possible have broken these so quickly, then I found all the other customer complaints. The connection between the headband and the earcup broke at the rotator. (And there's no self-help way to glue or tape it back to function.) I got a Bose headset as replacement, and it working great... with parts falling off. This is a product defect. It is a shame because the Sony sound and function were great ...for a few months. For me, this was a waste of money. NOT BestBuy's fault by the way. This is a Sony product defect. (Model: WH1000XM5/B, SKU:6505727, purchased 12/21/2022)

The only reason preventing me from giving it 5 stars is that I wish that the ear cups were bigger (like the Airpods Max). It starts to get uncomfortable after using it for an extended period of time.

The packaging and the holder was amazing. They use them at the gym, and at work when they need to lock in. They have ambient feature which is nice

For more comfortable listening experience, please make sure to adjust the slider of your headphones to a length where the headband touches the top of your head and adjust the orientation of the left and right units so that the earpads fit snugly all around your ears. Despite your concern, it's nice to know that you still like them, especially the noise canceling feature. With our WH-1000XM5 headphones, you can enjoy magnificent sound quality which is engineered to perfection and have a battery life that can last up to 30 hours with quick charging (3 min charge for 3 hours of playback). Plus they're $50 more? Nope. Bought these hoping they would replace my M3's, but they just aren't it. If NFC doesn't matter to you (which I can assume it doesn't for most) and you don't already have the M3's or M4's, these will probably be a good buy. Still, you'd probably be better off getting the M4's, the M5's are only okay.
