Noise Canceling Heaven!

I've had them for almost a year now and they're still holding up better than ever. These headphones are user friendly, super comfortable and worth every penny. The sound quality is beyond incredible and the noise cancellation as well as the transparency mode are both amazing!

Now, because she deserve them In had to buy another one for her. Once you wear them, you don't want to take them off, the noice cancelling feature once you touch it is supperv!! Comfortable, easy to get used to it.. Wich I can wear it at work!!

Also because the XM5 does have some cool features such as the ambience mode, especially the noise-cancelling mode so you can hear your inner demo- I mean, your music. The feel and quality of the headphones is quite sturdy and soft, specifically the thing or part that goes around the ears, it doesnt feel squished or weighted down as much compared to other headphones. So yeah, Sony Supremacy ig.

I had the xm4 but then they broke over years of using them. And replaced them with these they are way better then the last ,there good for the gym and sound amazing. But my fav thing about these is the lightness of headphones they fit perfectly on my head and dont come off when im playing basketball.

XM5 vs MAX

My wife currently has the Max and it is a good headphones but I can definitely say without a doubt the XM5 are the better option sound quality wise noise, cancellation, wise and overall lightness, it won’t bother you for extensive sessions on your head like the AirPod max will

Nearly Returned

Read on... Background: I am a bit of an audiophile. Love my IEMs (Sennheiser IE600, Moondrop Variations, Fiio FH9), my DAP (Fiio M11 Plus ESS), and my music service (Tidal). Neat little transportable package, big & meticulous sound. Really wanted to complement that with nice Bluetooth OTE cans with strong noise cancellation, "good enough for me" sound quality, for flights and "Calgon, take me away" moments... My Experience: The first time I listened to the XM5s, my shoulders slumped. I had tried the XM4s a year ago but returned because the sound quality just wasn't there. Not close. Thought "here we go again" with the XM5s: River-mud thump-thump in the bass, recessed and murky mids, and no definition or clarity up top. Warm as a blanket, but unlistenable. So I started tinkering (OK, extensively) with the EQ in the App, trying to get the frequency curve to match my IEMs (all pivoting around the Harman Target). Ah hah! Try this, left to right in the Headphones App EQ: +1, +4, +6, +6, +8, Clear Bass @ 3 (season to taste). Then give yourself a couple of days for driver and brain burn-in. Now: Love these... love. Exactly the complement I wanted, sound beyond what I had hoped for. Turns out the XM5s are some awesome hardware, Sony just destroys the native tuning, and none of the stock EQ profiles come close to correcting that. In this case, EQ isn't a matter of tuning to personal preference rather undoing all the bad decisions. That done, these sound terrific, definitely keepers, and they will get A LOT of use. Hope this is helpful to some...

I work from home and use them for MS Teams calls and the microphone array cannot be beat. I come through clear. Music is incredible with a typical bass forward response of most popular consumer models. However, this also helps with calls as voices are warm and not tinny.

XM5’s Exceeded expectations.

Exceeded my expectations especially from being a so called “AirPods user” for most of my life. The app is really intuitive and has great customization for the sound. The case is great too. I only wish that the materials were as nice as the AirPods Max.

Tried all flavors of noise cancelling headphones and these are #1 by a wide margin. These headphones sound phenomenal: Incredible immersive sound, deep rich bass, clear crisp highs. Download the app and you can customize the sound via the EQ. They are comfortable for long usage; 5+ hours on long flights. Exceptional noise canceling, best on the market. Skip the Bose, skip the lower model Sony's and GET THESE.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The noise canceling is amazing and really helps me lock in ehile im working since im easily distracted.trying to use it with windows I had some driver issues and i had to google a whole bunch of stuff to get good quality and low latency but it eventually worked like a charm. Thats my biggest gripe. Some minor bugs or things i dont understand. Has a lot of bells and whistles that really surprised me and showed how far you can take the software approach. You can control the headset from you phone but also conmect to another device lik your pc etc.
