Excellent Noise Cancelling, Sound Quality 30h Batt

The active feature continually adjusts the environment and dials in the cancelling. My ears are in heaven. Use on the airplane, and it's 30hr battery make international travel so comfortable. My last set of Sony NC headphones lasted over 10 years and are still going. DONT THINK ABOUT IT...BUY THESE oh...the sound AMAZING. Also, if the battery ever dies...they STILL WORK as wired headphone.

Awesome headphones

If you’re someone who likes loud base, i would recommend going Bose . But if you’re looking for everyday/ office use these are perfect. Also, people complain about the size of the case i think it’s perfect

I literally spent part of my flight sleeping comfortably without music playing because of how good the noise cancelling is. Can wear for hours with glasses and battery life is great.

Xm5s are better than i thought

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy the color and the sound profile, i upgraded from xm3 and the noise cancelling is noticeably different. the added drivers help the sound be more clear and distinct. bass is stronger but not overwhelmingly so, i just don’t like the fold out method for the 5s, they fold outward looking and sit on my clavicle uncomfortably, i also worry about the hinges since i’ve seen a lot of people mention that, but so far so good. i probably will get the xm6s but the only thing holding me back is the colors. :)

Battery life is great, Type C charging is a big plus, App for Android works 100% of the time, and have had not issues switching audio from a laptop, Desktop and phone! Noise canceling is great hear almost no plane noise, and the audio still sounds great. Placing a hand over the right ear will turn on ambient sound, thought that was lame but turns out to be very nice to have.

Exceptionally clear

The connectivity doest alway work first try, the talk to speak option could use refining and I find the overall sound isn't as warm as I'd like but it does excel at producing clear tones. They have great battery life and the noise canceling is the best ive seen, better than my the bose qc45 headpones i previously had. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and find them better than my previously headphones.

Incredible Headphones

The sound quality is incredible compared to all of the previous brands I’ve used, and the app is easy to use and has many different features that I’ve never seen before. A bit pricey but I know that I'll run these into the ground before I replace them. The ANC doesn't seem to be as strong but it isn't very off putting. The app is pretty convenient and the music is just as crisp and clear as it always is with Sony. Too bad these aren't really meant to workout in so I'll have to go ahead and buy some earbuds. Overall I'm very satisfied with the product.

Pretty nice while they last.

Noise canceling is nice. Comfortable. BUT. I’ve owned these about 17 months now. With about 30 days total use. And they just snapped on me mid flight. Wonderful. From other reviews I’ve seen. This seems like a common issue. I won’t be using Sony again for headphones.

Very comfortable. Very responsive as in speak to chat features. It detects your voice and stops the music allowing you to communicate with others and once you arent speaking anymore you csn go back to enjoying content. Very nice and i recommend it

After reading reviews online i decided to pull the trigger and purchase the XM5 and they did not disappoint. The headphones were amazing at launch and with a software update or 2 they can only get better. The sound isolation is top notch, i could barely hear anything with nothing playing. When the music was super low I couldnt hear a thing. They're lighter than the XM4, but the carrying case is a bit bigger. If you're contemplating getting them. Just get them.

They are comfy, sleek, and very much noise cancelling. I put them on sometimes even without music just to block out noise and they are perfect. Not to mention the sound.
