It convinced her to switch from her earbud only preference after having a lot of discomfort issues with other over-ear sets. Quality and performance is unmatched in all areas and still a noticeable improvement from the 3’s

I returned those and got these XM5s as a replacement, and I must say that these are without a doubt the best sounding headphones I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. The clarity of these headphones are amazing. These are far more superior than any Bose headphones you can buy, and far better than even the Sony XM4s I had previously. Very happy with this purchase.

Sound quality stays just as good with adjustability within the app. Unfortunately it doesn’t have optimizer noise canceling like the xm4s did so you can’t manually adjust NC on the go. The headphones do adjust NC automatically but that little key feature would’ve been nice to see on these. These no longer have NFC connectivity, but still connect to two devices at once.

Got this headphones for the lowest price during Black Friday deals. The sound quality was too good. The equalizer is an additional boost but it requires some effort to get the best sound with the right settings. Just keep playing around with it until you get it right.

Best over ear headphones for the price.

The fact that even on sale they haven't dropped in price since I bought them is proof enough, but I have used these daily since I bought them without any issues. The firmness of the pads has gone down, but not enough yet to justify a replacement. I use these for work, and they have lasted thousands of hours of constant and hard use, along with airplane rides and more. The sound suppression is comparable to none, and I have since purchased a second pair for my gf. I am literally wearing them right now.

And I can tell the sound is better and noise cancelation is better. The only thing i don't like is adjusting i liked the whxm4 clicking. Overall really good headphones
