THEY WORK!!!! I can relax on our comfy sofa, connect to music or a video and not hear a single thing he says or SHOUTS at the tv. It's pure bliss.

Good But Not Great

These Sony headphones were purchased as a replacement for the Airpods Max. I trust Sony headphones enough to try these, they borrow some of the features of the Airpods Max. The headphones borrow the tight fitting overhead noise cancellation fit of the aforementioned headphones. They’re snug, but unlike the Apple they make you perspire. They are sweaty after 30-40 minutes. The Apple never produces that in three years of ownership. The sound is good, what you would expect from Sony. The headphones similarly produce spatial sound like the Max. It’s necessary to download an app to make them work, which was okay on my personal phone, but when I tried to use them on my work phone it didn’t pair. I would rate these headphones 3 out of 5 stars, overall good affordable Sony product.

The speaker wuality is good too. I would say when i turn the bass up very loud at all it makes a funny pop sound. I listen to a lot of metal so the kickdrum sounds funny. Bluetooth pairing button flimsy. If it works well why downgrade? Was it a cost thing? because its still very expensive. Im tempted to get the earlier model for the convenience.
