Good ANC, Terrible Build Quality

However, the sound quality is a bit lower than I expected. The build quality of these are also absolutely horrendous as they have broken from just sitting on a shelf of an extended period of time.

The headphones definitely shouldn’t be breaking like that, so we recommend reaching out to our service center, Encompass, for a low-cost repair: https://sony.encompass.com/parts-accessories/Sony-Repair-Services
For the sound, you might also want to try adjusting some of the EQ settings in the Sony | Sound Connect app, it can make a big difference depending on what you’re listening to.

Design Flaw

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.with the time I had with these headphones I can say that they are a really good pair of headphones in terms of noise cancellation and amazing sound quality, however this product does have its fair share of drawbacks. The material that it is made out of makes it easy to break, although I have not broke my pair of headphones, there has been a design flaw that I have unfortunately come across. The design flaw are the hinges that connect the headband to the headphone cups and they tend to break easily without any external factors that caused it to break. I have researched about this problem on the internet, and this is a common issue that has not yet been resolved. There are numerous complaints about these headphones and their poor durability. I only had them for about 6 months, I put them on and then all of a sudden they are broken. I am actively trying to get them replaced, fixed, or refunded because this is not any of my fault rather Sony's fault and they are being difficult. If you are having the same issue file a complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and explain the situation. If you took the time to read this, please reconsider buying this headphone there are plenty of other options available, thank you!

No train bells, no train engine, no conversations happening around me, nothing. My only suggestion using these headphone is that you pay attention to your surroundings because you won’t hear a car beep at you, trust me on that lol

Great Overall but alright for Gym

If you cover the right ear with your hand then it’ll automatically go into transparency mode which is really cool. They aren’t that great for the gym though. Sweat easily builds up in the ears and they are not water or sweat proof. Really wish they made it water proof for the price it’s going for.

I had a trip upcoming and I was hoping for new and faster microprocessor technology. My Bose never disappointed, but these Sony headphones are magical. So very quiet I'm N/C mode. Almost made my air travel bearable.
