We're truly glad you like the great sound quality and you are very comfortable using these headphones. We're also sorry about the pairing issues with your Apple TV. When you pair the headphones using the Bluetooth settings of the connecting device, select the headphones model name without the LE- prefix. If you only see the headphones model name with LE- prefix, wait for a few seconds until the model name without prefix LE- is displayed.
To ensure you get the best Bluetooth connection, please set the headphones Bluetooth Connection Mode to “Priority on stable connection” (via Sony Headphones Connect app) and see if it resolves the problem. Also, please make sure that your headphones are running on the latest firmware version.
The WH-1000XM5 headphones have 2 processors that control 8 microphones for unprecedented noise cancellation and exceptional call quality. With a newly developed 30mm driver, DSEE – Extreme and Hi-Res audio support they provide awe-inspiring audio quality. Our Voice Pickup Technology uses 4 microphones that are calibrated to only pick up your voice, resulting in crystal clear calls. The automatic Speak to Chat feature will stop your music once you start talking and let in the ambient sound. With up to 30 hours of battery life and a quick charge feature. Exactly what I needed to drown out the noisy neighbors behind me. Solved my stress headaches. I wish I had gotten them sooner. Only thing is ,they cannot connect wirelessly to Mac or IPad. Otherwise they are the BEST ! Much cheaper than an Apple brand.

Bass, mids and highs well balanced running flat using EQ. You have to purchase 360 sound which is a drawback. Best headset I own at the moment.

Noise cancelling is good. I use these to meditate with and block out noise. I miss the old school wired headsets sound from the 80s. Ha ha.
