Sony Headphones Gen 5

Unfortunately they were stolen and I never was able to get them back, so I had to drop another $300 on new headphones. These headphones are great sound quality and the noise cancellation helps me lock in when I need to get work done without any outside noise distracting me. They are pricy but I got them for $100 off so that was nice at least. Would recommend for any college/university student for everyday use.

These Completely Spoiled Me

I no longer want to listen to music in my car or with other headphones. That's because the sound quality of these is just that good. I feel immersed in the music like I'm in the studio with the artists. The music has much more depth and nuance to it, and I can hear parts of songs that I would have never noticed with cheaper headphones. I really like the software and how easy they make it to customize the audio to your preferences (bass, treble, etc) - even a complete newbie can use it. The one concern I had before buying these was the pressure you feel in your ears from active noise canceling. I felt that a lot when trying on Bose QuietComfort headphones, but that's never been an issue with these. And unlike Bose QC and other headphones, you can also turn off the active noise canceling if it bothers you. TL;DR I can't recommend these headphones enough. If you're on the fence, just send it.

LOVE THEM. (I also got a bluetooth transmitter so I can be wireless when watching a movie on the plane’screen.

Sony XM5 Headphones

A major upgrade! These headphones are super comfortable and fit over my big head with no issues. Secondly, the sound quality is incredible along with the Ambient mode. The acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) feels super high-end and provides a unique feel to the headphones even though it's made from recycled plastic. Microphones are great for calls while noise cancellation blocks out background noise well. Although they don't fold like previous iterations, they're lighter than previous versions. I picked them up around Christmas while they were on sale and they're a must-have!

Only a small adjustment on the cushion over the head would have to be wider I think they corrected it on the latest version, again this definitely also depends on the shape of the person's head its gone get some time of use but would work fine, other than that all is perfect. I would recommend it specially it been on sale for a lot less.
