Great headphones but not for me

It’s annoying.

One of The Best Options

Sound quality is great for the user and the participants. Switching between a studio mic and these the the person at the other end said they couldnt hear too much difference. They are light to wear feel good overall. I bought these because the noise cancellation was rated as really good and the voice quality for phone calls was excellent and that's how it's worked out. Switching between phone and computer connection is good but not excellent but better than i have had in previous headphones. Not flawless but not bad at all.

Amazing Sound and Bass

Love how comfortable they feel, took maintain them new I purchased some silicone cups to cover them so I can use them while I workout. Best headset I've had and I've gone through dozens thus far. Thes battery last me days and I use them for my remote job on Zoom calls.

Lightweight but needs more support

The only downfall that I have about them is the arm for the headphones they need a metal supports built in. The ear supports crack. I use these all the time. Very comfortable and lightweight

I currently own sony xm-3's and had xm-4's. (which I sold for the xm-3's). This was not a downgrade, it was an upgrade. Just because there is a new version of something doesn't automaticlly make it better and that's the case with the xm-5. 1st I must say the noise cancelling in version 3 is as good as the latest edition. Also for the 400.00 price tag I cant hear any more detail from the new ones over the 3rd edition. If anything, fine details are muted. The bass is still muffled like version 4 and turning up the bass only muffles it more. The best part of these headphones are the comfort and phone call quality, which I don't buy headphones for anyway. I'm looking for sound quality, anc performance and comfort. Based on sound quality alone, I had to return these. Also, when I turned them on and put them on my head I kept smelling burning rubber. It was coming from the ear pads. Probably chemicals they use in packing from over seas. Not good, It made me sick. There are much better options at a cheaper price point. What comes to mind are the shure aonic 40's for 250.00. To each his own!

I hear almost next to nothing except for a faint hint of voices in the higher frequencies, very faint though. These are better than the MX4's. Lighter, more pronounced sound quality, ... clarity. No more flippy flop folding cans. These are perfect... hope they last long. :)
