    Crisp sound quality, lightweight and dead silent. I was doing dishes and running the vacuum cleaner at the same time and the M5 blocked all the noise. I use these headphones while I am working or meditating. Peace and perfection are the only two words I can use to describe this product. My M4 lasted 4 years before the plastic broke. Over time my M4's developed small stress fractures that eventually gave away. I was naturally upset at first, but it allowed me to purchase and experience the new M5's. A blessing in disguise

    These headphones preform well and sound great. I find the headband orientation to the speakers a little awkward on the head when the speakers are ideally situated on the ears. Not a big deal, but I do notice every time I wear them.

    I have only one qualm with these headphones, and that's that they have completely spoiled me. I no longer want to listen to music in my car or with other headphones. That's because the sound quality of these is just that good. I feel immersed in the music like I'm in the studio with the artists. The music has much more depth and nuance to it, and I can hear parts of songs that I would have never noticed with cheaper headphones. I really like the software and how easy they make it to customize the audio to your preferences (bass, treble, etc) - even a complete newbie can use it. The one concern I had before buying these was the pressure you feel in your ears from active noise canceling. I felt that a lot when trying on Bose QuietComfort headphones, but that's never been an issue with these. And unlike Bose QC and other headphones, you can also turn off the active noise canceling if it bothers you. TL;DR I can't recommend these headphones enough. If you're on the fence, just send it.

    I always love this series of Sony headphones but I feel whole this is a grear quality item, the XM5 is not as good as thr XM4. This model doesnt fold. This model also seems to be easier to mark with fingerprints and oils from skin contact. The sound quality is great as I expected and thete is an equalizer app witb presets and you can make customs. The XM4 came with a case that included cords and an airplane adapter. XM5 doesnt inclue the double prong airplane adapter. I still love these but unless XM6 makes some inprovements and take inspiration from thr XM4 I might sit that generation out! Oh yeah.. these give me sweaty ears! These are NOT for the gym or a rainy day. Disappointed in that becuae the ANC is aweaome. Id love ro run in thse but Im sure they woild ger moisture damage

    I'm a bit of a Sony fanboy, so take with a grain of salt, but I have yet to be let down by these headphones. The fit over my ears is comfortable and I've worn them for hours at a time. Noise cancellation is perfect and the bluetooth connection hasn't dropped once. I dinged the battery life rating one star since the Sennheiser Momentum 4 manages an absurd 60 hours, but the 30 hours Sony offers has not been an issue. My music sounds great on the XM5s and it works well when plugged into a PS5 controller too!

    You are not ready for how good these sound! The noise cancellation on them is absolutely superb! Sound quality is phenomenal, ease of use and functionality off the charts. It is susceptible to smudges if you have kind of oily hands. The battery life on these headphones are the best I've ever encountered!

    This is the best headset I ever purchased, high quality, light weight, the noise cancellation is worth the price, my previous one made me felt dizzy when I turn on the noise cancelling everytime, but this one does not, love this headset very much, also recommend to one of my friend. she bought it and love it as well.
