I noticed a beeping sound when I first bought it during listening. All you have to do is change the toggle where it switches automatically. The headphones are trying to automatically adjust to ambient and noise canceling. I took that off now what ever I do im in controll of the sound And no beeping.

The sound quality and isolation is amazing. Not quite at the Airpod Max level - but impressive nonetheless! The touch controls on the right ear up by itself makes these an intriguing option to consider when looking for a high quality, excellent sounding pair of headphones! I’m glad to have received these over the holidays!

However I had some issues with talking to someone on the phone with them. I have people tell me they can’t hear me.

We strongly recommend following the steps below to help resolve this:
1. Verify Audio Settings:
For Android Devices: During a call, tap the speaker or Bluetooth icon and select "WH-1000XM5 Hands-Free."
For iOS Devices: During a call, tap the audio icon and select "WH-1000XM5 Hands-Free."
For Computers: During a call, right-click the speaker icon on the taskbar, open sound settings, and select "Headset (WH-1000XM5 Hands-Free)" from the output dropdown list.
2. Firmware Update to Version 2.4.1:
Please install the latest software to enhance performance and functionality. Detailed instructions are available at the following link: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/wireless-headphones-bluetooth-headphones/wh-1000xm5/software/00278246
3. Reset the Headset:

I originanly boguht them to try them out and to see if they were worth the big price, but let me say, every cent is worth it! Ive never used such premium sounding headphones that are worth the money! I love the fact they sound wonderful, the amazing noise counseling, and even the fact I can connect them to my gaming console with the cord that comes with them, and listen to my video games! Song is where it’s at!

They sound better than my older pair of Bose headphones. Just wish they made them with a better material around the ear that had moisture wicking material. I use them when I mow and I tend to sweat and they slide off at times.

Replacing my XM4s

So I decided to get the XM5s on sale and they are just as good, if not better than the XM4s. The headphones sound great and aesthetically pleasing. I wouldn't necessarily upgrade from the XM4, but if you don't have either, go ahead and grab the XM5. You won't regret it!
