Best headphones I’ve owned.

I am not an audiophile but they sound great to me. A couple of great features are when you talk it pauses the music and turns on the microphone so you can hear yourself talk. Another is when you lift one side of the headphone it pauses the music until you put it back to your ear.

Definitely try on multiple sony headphones before you make a decision

At times it did bother me but as I normally have them out due to how much I use them it doesn’t cause much of an issue for me.

The audio is OK and the nose cancelling is good, except the software that gets installed with them on my phone causes the nose cancelling to turn on and off seemingly randomly. It's distracting and runs the audio quality and experience. If I don't move my head, they sound great. After wearing them for about 20 minutes they start to hurt my ears... not great. They come with a nice case, thats cool. The ear cuffs are touch control sensitive which sounds like a cool feature, but adjusting their position on your head will cause your audio playback to do weird things... not cool. Meh

These blow them away. The noise reduction is awesome. I can mow my lawn and never hear the mower running. Also while using it talking on my phone it does fantastic! Great investment for headphones.

I had the M4 for a while and got water into them so they stopped working. Then I got the Beats Studio 3 I must tell you, those are nothing compared to the Sonys. I have turned that function off but its not registering. For music or other audio its great.

Incompatible with Apple and PS5

Both Sony products and I feel this is very inconvenient. There is also no way to find them with an Apple product

We understand and appreciate your frustration with these specific issues, especially as they relate to other Sony and Apple products. You've brought up two very important points, and here is some information on each:
1) PlayStation Bluetooth Connectivity: The WH-1000XM5 headphones do not support a direct Bluetooth connection with the PlayStation console. While they are both Sony products, PlayStation consoles are designed to use their own proprietary wireless connection for controllers and dedicated gaming headsets (such as the INZONE or PULSE series) to ensure a stable, low-latency audio experience crucial for gaming. As a workaround, many users have success using the included 3.5mm audio cable to connect the headphones directly to the PlayStation controller.
2) "Find My" Feature with Apple Products: The WH-1000XM5 does not support Apple's "Find My" network. However, we do offer a similar feature within the Sony | Headphones Connect app. This "Find device" feature can help you locate the headphones if they are connected to your phone and within a short range.
We understand these limitations can be inconvenient, and we sincerely appreciate you bringing them to our attention. Your feedback is very valuable to our product development teams as we continue to improve our products and user experience.
