3 years later and they still work amazing

The noise canceling is my favorite part. It’s very light weight which I love makes it very comfortable to wear. 100% recommend you get these they are amazing. Battery life is still good 3 years later.

These are incredible! Great ANC, amazing sound quality over Bluetooth and 3.5mm, and very comfortable. I use them for music, planes, and games and TV when my wife is sleeping. Controls are intuitive and easy to use. The control app also allows you to choose a custom equalizer similar to choosing an eyeglass prescription (better 1 or 2?) which gives the best sound to your ears. Add to all this, the battery lasts forever. I have used these for easily 10-15 hours and only used 30% battery with ANC on full time. These are not cheap but they are certainly worth it if you want great quality. The only downside is the lack of any waterproofing (the instructions even warn against sweating. But I would still give 5 stars as these are not meant for heavy outdoor/exercise use.

HANDS DOWN BEST HEADPHONE FOR IT'S PRICE

Excellent transparency, the best call quality, arguably the best ANC, great connectivity, and super comfortable. It's sound quality is a bit subjective as straight out of the box I felt it sounded good but not great. A little bass heavy and bloated but it also has one of the best app EQ's which makes it sound fantastic once you find your favorite settings and really brings it up to par with other wireless headphones that are twice the price. In fact if I had to find one flaw it would be the short charge cable (a 6" cable is a joke) but that's the only thing I can think of. I absolutely love the XM5 and it is DEFINITELY worth it's price tag.

The noise canceling works great, the sounds is fantastic, they are comfortable to wear for hours and the battery life is long. I didn't own a pair of xm4 so I don't have a comparison but these are well worth the money thus far.

Excellent sounding noise cancellation heaphones

I bought these headphones after watching numerous reviews from YouTube. To me, they sound great out of the box but if you download the app, you can customize the sound to how you like. I'm sure there will be other reviews with how these noise cancel on a technical level but for me, my lawn company comes around at least twice a week with their loud leaf blowers, weed whackers, lawn mowers and such. With these on, I hear very minimal of that noise. They are comfortable for long periods of use (over 2 hours for me) and they aren't too heavy on the head. There's several convenience features like holding your hand over the right ear to soften the sound so you can hear other people or you can just start talking and it will do the same and stop your music (although these are neat features I think most people might find it rude if you talk to them without taking off your headphones). All in all I am very happy with the money spent on these.

Its a quick download, fine tune the sound then never touch the app again. I bring these to the gym I jog with these, jump road I punch punching bags. If theres an upgraded version of this headphone set i am going to purchase. Sony does everything so much better than Samsung and apple. My 1 complaint is I sing, or yell with these on at the gym so the headohones auto pause to listen to my surrounding. I'm sure I can tweak the app to get rid of that but the voice commands work extremely well its easy to talk to others too. I do blast my music but i make sure i don't risk hearing damage. If you blast headphones, no longer than 15 minute's for your ears, if you listen at a balanced level then you'll go for hours. Do not let moistures or sweat/ rain touch these headphones theyre Exspensive and Great quality. Better gym headphone are bone conduction headphones that wrap around your neck a little

He was very impressed with the noise cancellation and swipe touch features on the unit themselves. They look really sharp (along with the case). I personally have had a set of this same product but about 6 years older. They are holding up very well and big fan of this product line from Sony.

Did notice some improvement with Noise cancellation and transparency mode. Note you can’t fold the 5s but for me was no biggie because they feel a lot more sturdy than the previous generation

Comfy, Clear, A+ headphones Completely worth the $

I fell in love them them too, so much so that I bought a pair for myself! The sound, is crystal clear, and full and the headphones are soooo light and cozy, yet dont slip at all. They were my daily driver headphones for over 2 years. When they finally died on me, I decided to try the Apple AirPods Max. Wow what a mistake that was. They were bulky, heavy, and did not sound nearly as good as I would have hoped for their cost. I returned the AirPods for these Sonys, which were on sale for about half the price of the AirPods. These sound SO MUCH more premium and are infinitely more comfortable. I wish these would fold up a little smaller, but I have no real complaints about them. I love that I can use these as Bluetooth or with an INCLUDED aux cable.

Very good, very expensive wireless headphones

(Not AS convenient as other headphones; if you use the LDAC codec you can't use multipoint connections.) They sound just a bit cleaner than the XM4 but lose some of the bass punch. I prefer my Shure Aonic 50s for listening to music, but these are still great. The carrying case is also notably bulkier than the XM4s, as these don't fold in on themselves. They look fairly cool, and are pretty comfortable for hours on end, but - especially since it has touch controls - the black finish collects fingerprint oil very fast (seems the silver has a different texture/feel and doesn't have that problem). Fast charging, good battery life, decently low latency despite not being Apt-X-LL. They do actually perform great as headphones for phone calls, vastly better than others I've tried. No one has yet said anything negative about the call quality. The carrying case is bulkier than the XM4.

These stay on nicely and don't feel like they will damage my glasses. sound quality - is excellent. I've got a music service that these headphones can take advantage of for better sound. battery life - haven't really tested this. Although they have lasted all day while I travel. style - i like the simplistic design on the headphones and the color does stand out a bit, but i don't want to forget it anywhere so I need it to be different. wireless - Bluetooth is really good on these cans. I love being able to walk around the house and not worry about dropouts.
