They are comfortable to use at the gym and they dont get messy like others. I upgraded from Beats Solo Pro and these are far more comfortable. I am not the neatest or cleanest person and the light grey color has been super durable and not hard to take care of. Battery life makes it worth it. A bit pricey though.

I took a flight to Paris 13 hours plus filled with children, i head nothing but my great music, I didn’t even hear the noise from the plane. Love that I hear more than just the base.

They feel nice on the ears and have such good noice cancellation that it almost hurts but if ya can manage the price definitely get these. Good connection too but ive had trouble connecting them to my pc.

Highly Recommend if you wear glasses

Noise cancelling works great. I work from home and use them for meetings... I wear glasses, so being comfortable without digging my glasses into my head was a big deal. I've worn them for hours at a time and they stay comfy.

The hi-fi system is tuned to a specific master/engineer and will change the producers intentions to instrument (or song in totality)! Would not recommend to music producers! But for casual listeners, it’s a good choice… maybe not for the price though, if you like how they sounds they’ll be a good suite, but if you want true transparency this is not your choice!

It’s great to hear how much you appreciate the new lightweight design—that's a huge win for long sessions, especially for workouts where comfort and reduced bulk are key!
And you've absolutely nailed a key point about the controls. It's frustrating when a core feature like Noise Cancellation requires you to dig into an app instead of being instantly available on your phone's audio dashboard. Just to make sure you know, you can bypass the app for the basic NC/Ambient switch! There's a dedicated NC/AMB button on the top of the left earcup—Pressing that button will quickly cycle between: Noise Cancelling ON, Ambient Sound Mode (where you hear surroundings) and Noise Cancelling OFF (if you've enabled that setting in the app).
Hopefully, using that physical button makes those mid-workout adjustments much faster for you!

The noise cancellation is great. While on a plane sitting on the in the emergency row the noise cancellation was impeccable.

Skip Sony - go for Bose

They were originally purchased to replace my older Bose headphones, which has a weak battery. But all I hear is the noise around me, and it won't sit well on my head. I had high expectations for the Sonys, but the noise cancellation feature is far from spectacular - especially at this price point. It's also a pain to connect with Bluetooth and takes more time to charge. Back to the Bose. I've learned my lesson. Never again.

The issue of hearing excessive noise during calls is common when conferencing apps force the headphones into a lower-quality Bluetooth mode (HFP); we recommend manually checking your PC's sound settings to ensure the "Headset (WH-1000XM5 Hands-Free)" profile is selected before joining a call. Regarding the fit, ensure you gently adjust the headband sliders so the earcups achieve a complete seal around your ears, as this is crucial for optimal noise cancellation performance.
