These are great for talking, watching movies, and of course listening to music. These and the x3’s do not a big difference.

Great sound, not good for working out

Thank you for your time writing this review. While we are glad you like the amazing sound quality and noise canceling features of the WH1000XM5, we're sorry to hear that headphones is falling off your head while working out. Here are few tips to prevent these kind of issues:
Wear the headset on your ears properly.
Extend the slider to its full length before putting on the headset.
Put on the headset with the earpads fitting snugly over your ears.
Adjust the slider to a length where the headband touches the top of your head.
Adjust the orientation of the left and right units so that the earpads fit snugly all around your ears. If you put on the headset without adjusting the slider, the headset may not be positioned properly on your head, resulting in discomfort or a weak noise canceling effect. Comfortable, w/ great sound and noise cancelling.

I also enjoy listening to music on them. I haven't pinned down everything... haven't used them in a zoom yet, but I really didn't buy them for that purpose, so cannot say for sure if the mic works well since I use them mainly to listen to music and block out noise around me.

Maybe it's just not my headphone format

I was dissapointed that the 360 Spacial Sound is only available when using specific apps (read addional subscription fees). I don't know if they are worth the money over other Sony or Apple products
