They’re such a fantastic upgrade from my old Beats. I use them everywhere – at the gym, in the sauna, and even at home. The sound quality is just incredible, and the noise cancelling is top-notch. Perfect Headphones with possible flaw in some unit

Voice quality is very clear and excellent for remote work or chatting while walking (much better than any headphones I've tried before). ANC and sound quality are great. Deducted one star because mine shipped with an odd defect where the headphones would pick up radio stations in certain areas when on, but only in the right ear cup. This has also been reported by others. The process was lengthy (a couple weeks after troubleshooting) but Sony eventually replaced them. Just a heads up if you hear random country music when nothing is on, you're not crazy!

Decent Headphones - Pros&Cons

Pros: Great Sound Quality Automatically shuts off and pauses music Comfortable Noise Cancelling is Amazing Bluetooth range is great. Cons: Battery life is great but I would say the Sony XM3 lasted slightly longer I'm unsure why but the material on the earphone padding feels cheap like it's going to rip or wear out quickly. I'd like the ability to have it clamp down on ears a bit better as they seem to get more loose over time

If you use for noise cancelling, you wont be able to hear anything so its good for cutting out distractions. no problems other than having to take care of them. They look like they have the potential to break easy but with care have lasted.

Best quality headphones and versatile

Ive had bose, garmin, blue parrot over ear and all the top earbud brands reguardless of price attenpting to find the pair with long battery life, quick charging, good sound, and acceptable talk on the phone. So far after a few months i can confirm these sony over ear are finally the ones. It took me years to find the perfect pair. I wear these 10+ hrs a day every single day while operating a plumbing service buisness, so they are durable also

Sony Headphones Gen 5

Unfortunately they were stolen and I never was able to get them back, so I had to drop another $300 on new headphones. These headphones are great sound quality and the noise cancellation helps me lock in when I need to get work done without any outside noise distracting me. They are pricy but I got them for $100 off so that was nice at least. Would recommend for any college/university student for everyday use.

Noise cancelling is very effective. The only thing, is I would just pay the extra $60 for the xm6 right now, since the noise cancelling is even better with those.

Good with reasonable conditions

They stay charged for a very long time. Fit over box braids and hats. The downside is carrying a bag big enough for the case when on the go- but I'd do that for any headphones and recommend getting sports/ bad weather earbuds since Sony recommends no exposure to rain or sweat to keep the headphones sound and within warranty. I only wear these to work or do errands, not for physical exercise or without an umbrella.

Ditch Airpods, these are worth the money!

I used to have Airpods which was convenient, but was hurting my ears at some point. I gave these headphones a try and the bass and sound is waaay better! Its esthetically pleasing. Simple design. I find it great that you can customize the controls and sound to whatever you like on the app AND the fact that you can turn off the noise cancelling real quick to talk to someone, just by covering the right side of the headphones... this is nice and convenient! I hate going back and forth with pausing my music, so I love that feature.

Better than AirPods Max

My biggest complaint with the Max is that, though they sound amazing and work beautifully within the ecosystem, they hurt my ears and do not stay in place. These headphones are sooo incredibly comfortable and LIGHT!! The ANC is wonderful and the quick charging is nutty, 50% to 100% in under 15 minutes… no words. My one complaint is that these are unusable while charging, but that charging speed more than makes up for it. If you’re on the fence, come over to the other side. And this is coming from someone miles deep within the Apple ecosystem. 11/10 so far!!

Choosing these headphones will definitely be worth it. Unfortunately, using the headphones while charging is not supported. When the headset is connected to an AC outlet or computer, all operations such as turning on the headset, registering or connecting to Bluetooth devices, and music playback cannot be performed.
