We apologize that you are experiencing struggles with the touch controls when skipping music, as the gesture controls should be consistently responsive. This issue can sometimes be caused by the Bluetooth signal quality, especially when the headphones are set to prioritize audio quality over a stable connection, so we recommend opening the Sony | Headphones Connect app and changing the setting to "Priority on Stable Connection" in the Sound tab. If the issue persists, please try restarting your playback device (phone/laptop) or performing a simple reset of the headphones (instructions are in the help guide) to clear any temporary glitches.

THIS PRODUCT HAS CHANGED HER WHOLE WORK DAY, in the best way possible! If she has these on and I come home from work, she has no clue I am home. I can bang doors/drawers and she isn't bothered. I tried these on and it basically shut out the world. WOULD RECOMMEND HIGHLY!!!!!

Comfort is very good. Sound quality is also very good. Perhaps a bit bass heavy, despite attempts to limit the bass and accentuate the midrange and treble. Despite this, I would definitely recommend these headphones!

They can go long periods without having to be charged too. You can even adjust the settings in the headphones for different sound control like a higher bass

Better than expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was debating whether I should get these over the airpods max until I started to see review for both headphones from youtubers and audiophiles and mostly they were saying that the xm5s or xm4s would be a better pick than the AirPods max considering the overpriced headphones is heavy and can be uncomfortable for longer periods of listening times. 100% recommended

The only thing that I didn’t like was that the volume even adjusted to maximum levels was quieter than my XM4’s

I did have an issue with when I am listening to music, it would stop playing when ever I started singing or if I spoke to someone else, not sure why this was happening, overall it’s a great headphones

Regarding your concern, it's possible that the Speak-to-Chat function (the headset pauses or mutes the music which is being played) of your headphones activates when you sing loudly or speak to someone. The Speak-to-Chat mode activates when it detects the speech of the person wearing the headset, but in rare cases, it may activate in response to the voices of other people, ambient environmental sounds, transportation announcements, etc. But you don't have to worry, you can disable Speak-to-Chat in cases where the Speak-to-Chat mode frequently activates by accident or if you don't want the music to pause when you begin to sing.
