The headphones play audio perfectly and when I use them I can’t hear anything else. The headphones quality are really good and they are really comfortable. I wear them almost everyday and I’ve never had any problems with charging them. The headphones are perfect and I’ve never had any problem with them.

I’m able to wear them for an extended period of time without much discomfort on my head. My only issue is sometimes they will lose connection for no reason and I have to reconnect on my iPhone which can be annoying.

Great pair of headphones

I was more on the side of the AirPods Max, because it fit the apple ecosystem. However, I jumped on the Sony train. Great noise cancellation and excellent battery life! The price is also much better than the AirPods Max, but if you want superior noise cancellation, go with the AirPods Max. The other thing is that the XM5’s don’t really fatigue your head after long use. I highly recommend these headphones

Impressive Noise Cancelling

I generally use these paired with my iPhone while working and the sound has been impressive. I've been very picky with my headphones and compared these to the Apple Airpods Max and Bose, for the money they are a bit better value. The small nit picks I have are the need for an additional app installed for them to function, I wish they could be a little louder for heavier music, and given how lightweight they are (which is awesome) I am concerned with durability over time.

They feel like clouds on your ears as you can wear these for hours and they’re comfortable the whole time. The battery life is great. Love these for traveling. Sound Quality The audio is phenomenal—deep bass, crisp highs, and a balanced midrange. Whether I’m listening to podcasts, classical music, or EDM, everything sounds rich and immersive. The LDAC support really makes a difference when streaming high-res audio. Noise Cancellation Sony wasn’t kidding when they said “industry-leading.” I use these on my commute and in coffee shops, and they block out everything from chatter to traffic noise. The adaptive noise canceling is smart enough to adjust based on where I am, which is super convenient. Calls & Connectivity Call quality is crystal clear. I’ve taken Zoom meetings and phone calls with these, and people say I sound better than when I use my phone directly. Multipoint Bluetooth is a lifesaver—I switch between my laptop and phone without any hiccups. Comfort & Design They’re lightweight and feel luxurious. The ear cups are soft and don’t cause fatigue even after hours of wear. I do wish they folded like the XM4s, but the flat-fold design

I never turn them up more than halfway and it really shuts out any and all noise. The noise cancellation is also a big plus. I hardly have to charge them. Have had them for a few years and really like them. I only didn’t make them a 5 because sometimes at the gym they slide off. Might just be because my head isn’t big enough. Also comes with a cord if you want to plug them into a device. But I’ve found that noise cancellation doesn’t work if it’s plugged in instead of being connected to Bluetooth.

We appreciate the feedback about them slipping at the gym. For active workouts, our WF-1000XM5 earbuds might be a more secure fit.
Just a tip: noise cancellation does work when the headphones are plugged in with the audio cable, but only if they're powered on.

Feels like youre in an airplane but wow. I cant hear anything. The lows are crisp and mids are present. Highs can be a missing but you can change the EQ. Best sounding headphones on the market. Battery life is amazing as well. Tested it and and a charge lasts 2 weeks with about hour and a half listening every day. These are the top. Sennheiser Momentum 4 are a close pick too.

Traded in my AirPods Max

At first I thought this was a mistake, but now that I have used them for over a month, I love this headset. I honestly believe the Automatic Noise Cancelling is the best I have used to include the aforementioned Apple headset. The controls are primarily done on the right ear with swipes. Love that functionality. The battery life is insane. I listen to them in the morning for about 30 minutes for my podcasts and rarely use them on the weekends. After one month the battery was at 60%! I thought the app was wrong. That is crazy battery life. No chance of that happening with the Apple headset. These are comfortable and the only disadvantage is the lack of folding capabilities. Apple didn't have this function either. I got these on sale for $329 which was $150 less than the Apple headset I bought on sale. I am not bashing the Apple headset. It is a fantastic product but for $150 less and battery life that is insane and comfort these were an easy choice for me.

Comfortable with incredible sound

I own a few pair of beats Studios and while they've got good base, their sound isnt nearly as balanced. I tried out a paur of bose that were way to harsh on the highs. I liked the design and my ears are more comfortable when wearing for a long time. (lighter than XM4 and it covers my ears better +better leather quality). Bigger headphone case doesn't matter to me much because I wear it when I travel.
