Speak to chat should default to your latest selection. I get tired of turning that off. OTHERWISE? Stellar headset with amazing options, sound, and nc.

Best sounding mainstream wireless headphones, few negatives though, the touch sensor panel seems to have a kind of its own!I wear them all day for work all year round so I wish they had less wear fatigue but if you wear them for shorter periods of time they are perfectly comfortable!Otherwise my favorite headphones!

I was very disappointed. I decided to go with these XM5's and at the very first listen i FELL IN LOVE! These headphone sleave the Bose ones in the dust! The sound quality is 10x better, microphones are amazing.. overall I give them 10/10

Worse than last version should be half the price

Great noise isolation best I've experienced, great battery life, super comfortable but sound quality, which is most important, is awful at this price range. Almost underwater sounding and can't properly adjust third party EQ to fix, and the vegan leather doesn't seem it will last too long. Love the 3.5 option though. So overpriced for the quality of audio one gets, worse than xm4. Terrible option for Windows users, can't use Sony app with EQ without Google account and third party software to run app on Windows properly. I can't justify this purchase, maybe if it lived up to Sony's supposed great reputation of pleasing audiophiles like myself, but they're moving backwards with sound quality at this point. Too much focus on being mobile with Bluetooth, time to go back to old school wired for home.

I've had a XM2 for 6 years which worked so well, but I unfortunately lost it during a trip. Upgraded to XM5 last month and it delivers moreeeeee than expected. It's great that you can connect with two devices at once via bluetooth, though this operation feels less than polished at least when moving between MS teams on a laptop, and your phone. I like that you dont need a separate mike b/c the sensitivity on this mike is superb and people can hear you even with an A/C activated in the same room. The 30 hour battery life and fast charging means it will outlast you on an given day. I would recommend.

Noise-Cancelling on another level

No train bells, no train engine, no conversations happening around me, nothing. My only suggestion using these headphone is that you pay attention to your surroundings because you won’t hear a car beep at you, trust me on that lol

Sacrifice a little comfort for size, so it’s fine. The haptics are a bit annoying, great concept but irritating when you adjust them and the sound stops. App could use some work from UI perspective. These aren’t the type of headphones you would go running with, so not sure about why so much emphasis is put on activity. However, tap to turn off noise canceling and stop when you take them off is great!
