Just be careful when doing pull ups, the touch controls can be set off due to your arm touching it also. Lol

I should have read the reviews before purchasing. The M4 which is over $100's less probably is the better value. I am a disappointed with the volume level.

This material fits snugly around the head with less pressure on the ears while keeping out external sounds. Our noiseless design with stepless slider, seamless swivel and hanger, and silent joints, makes WH-1000XM5 a pleasure to wear. For the low sound level, please try these steps. Turn up the volume of the headset and the connected device.
Connect the Bluetooth device to the headset once again.
Reset the headset.
Initialize the headset, and pair the headset and the device again.

Companies like Edifier and 1MORE have headphones that cost 1/4 of this set's price and perform just as well (and in some cases better). Sony may still have the edge on ANC but if you value sound quality more than noise cancellation there are simply other, more interesting options out there that will save you A LOT of $$$.
