The sound quality, bass, clarity, 40 hr battery, noise canceling Im in a loud metal stamping factory and i only hear my music. The putting your hand over the right headphone to quiet down the music as well as noise cancelation, so you can hear whoever it is wanting to talk to you is an amazing great idea.

The ones I returned were not loud enough. The Sonys are loud enough however, the problem with the Sonys are “Connecting” them they don’t always work the first time - this needs to be fixed. I bought them because my Sony TVs are superior to others I’ve had.

I love the accompanying app which allows me to customize the sound equalizer and other features. These are the most comfortable headphones I have ever owned; I wear them when I study, clean, and craft. Amazing noise canceling ability with very user-friendly ability to temporarily disable it either manually or by voice. Easily one of the best tech purchases I’ve ever made.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The noise canceling is amazing and really helps me lock in ehile im working since im easily distracted.trying to use it with windows I had some driver issues and i had to google a whole bunch of stuff to get good quality and low latency but it eventually worked like a charm. Thats my biggest gripe. Some minor bugs or things i dont understand. Has a lot of bells and whistles that really surprised me and showed how far you can take the software approach. You can control the headset from you phone but also conmect to another device lik your pc etc.

Turn up the volume of the headset and the connected device.
Connect the Bluetooth device to the headset once again.
Reset the headset.
Initialize the headset, and pair the headset and the device again.

I own both and the MX5 has far greater noise cancellation with the same tone quality as MX4. More ear cup space makes these retain less heat and therefore more comfortable. If youre flying as much as me, the noise cancellation is scary good on a plane (no crying babies). I highly recommend these headphones and the Sony app offers very adaptive tuning.

Noise Canceling Heaven!

I've had them for almost a year now and they're still holding up better than ever. These headphones are user friendly, super comfortable and worth every penny. Now, because she deserve them In had to buy another one for her. Once you wear them, you don't want to take them off, the noice cancelling feature once you touch it is supperv!! Comfortable, easy to get used to it.. Wich I can wear it at work!!

The Built-In Microphones in Both the Earpiece is an Innovative Masterpiece. One Example is, I owned a Pair of XM2 (of the multiple I've owned) for a period of 3Yrs& 2Months. and worked as good ax the Day I bought them. I'm Wheelchair Bound with a Back Pack affixed to the Back of the 'Chair'. Had it Not been for them being STOLEN out of the Back Pack while I was on a Community Transit Bus I WOULD Still have Them. I had taken them off & put in Bk Pk for just a minute due to mechanical Wheel Chair Problem. When after getting off the BUS & Trying to get them, They WERE GONE. NOW, I CAN SAY I'm Glad because I was checking for Headphones again after checking the 4 TOP BRANDS Over and Over SONY WINS 'Hands Down' over ALL Others. I had the xm4 but then they broke over years of using them. And replaced them with these they are way better then the last ,there good for the gym and sound amazing. But my fav thing about these is the lightness of headphones they fit perfectly on my head and dont come off when im playing basketball.
