Solid headphones but some improvements needed

The noise canceling function works well and I was looking for a set that were multipoint - able to connect more than one device - so that I can respond to my phone while working on my laptop. The reason for the 4/5 stars is because I am forced to download an app to do the multiple connections and connectivity isn’t always consistent resulting in a somewhat glitchy sound connection on MS Teams. This doesn’t happen often but for the price we shouldn’t have to deal with this.

Only downside is a weaker bass, but this can be slightly enhanced with settings in the Song sound app

Sound is amazing, headphones a bit big

We opted for these over the Bose because we both really liked the ability to mute/turn off noise cancellation by holding your hand over the right ear. We also both thought these felt more comfortable than Bose, and that the sound was pretty much equal. However, these headphones are a little big for both of us, and that's our main complaint. We also find that we accidentally mute the headphones quite a bit when exercising. Otherwise, that are incredible.

Great sound quality and comfort

I wish they made cooking earpieces for them on release, that’s the only thing I would change. I use these to study in order to focus, and they’re comfortable enough to walk with outside as well. So far the connectivity seems pretty seamless.

Excellent upgrade from WH-1000XM3

The ANC is better than the old model without that pressurized feeling. Sound stage is great on the default eq settings but a little tweaking really makes these shine, especially with LDAC enabled on Android. It's a shame that apple users miss out on that feature. These headphones are also very comfortable, I've been wearing them 4-5 hours at a time without any issues.

Overtime the joints get weak and may snap. The quality there needs improvement mechanically. The audio technology is the best nonetheless.

For Apple/Iphone users* You cannot share audio with others with these headphones. If you are looking to maybe watch a movie together somewhere and not disturb others this wont be your friend.* But great everything else!! An example of this would be the speech detection, I woul talk and audio would cut off, so overall you could talk and listen at the same time. Unless of course you changed it in the app. Nonetheless its a great product, amazing audio and are comfortable around the ear!

Perfect for Long Haul Flights

Wore these on an 8+ hour flight on one charge. Love that they come with an aux cord for in-flight entertainment and the noise cancelling was perfect. Also was able to wear a travel pillow and sleep with them on pretty easily.

Best Sony WH Series Headphones Yet!

I was surprised at how comfy, and well-built these were when I put them on. The noise canceling is the best iteration yet and doesn't hurt my ears like previous models. If you want to splurge on over-ear headphones, then give these a try! I use these in the office daily and couldn't be happier.

Xm5s are better than i thought

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[Employee of bestbuy] I really enjoy the color and the sound profile, i upgraded from xm3 and the noise cancelling is noticeably different. the added drivers help the sound be more clear and distinct. bass is stronger but not overwhelmingly so, i just don’t like the fold out method for the 5s, they fold outward looking and sit on my clavicle uncomfortably, i also worry about the hinges since i’ve seen a lot of people mention that, but so far so good. i probably will get the xm6s but the only thing holding me back is the colors. :)

Super comfortable, works well with all my devices, sound quality is great for music and calls. The mic even filters your voice well during calls.
