We're glad you like the headphones but sorry the noise canceling isn't hitting the mark. We recommend disabling "Adaptive Sound Control" in the Sony Sound Connect app to keep the ANC at its maximum level. Ensuring a snug fit around the ears and checking for the latest firmware update can also significantly improve performance.

It felt like I was in my own little world! And the ability to turn on ambience mode with just a touch of a finger without pulling out my phone is the cherry on top.

Great headphones just cheap headbands

The only thing is that the headband part broke just over a year of use. I don't think I was harsh or anything. Very unfortunate for such expensive headphones. But overall would recommend.

I returned those and got these XM5s as a replacement, and I must say that these are without a doubt the best sounding headphones I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. The clarity of these headphones are amazing. These are far more superior than any Bose headphones you can buy, and far better than even the Sony XM4s I had previously. Very happy with this purchase.

Sound quality stays just as good with adjustability within the app. Unfortunately it doesn’t have optimizer noise canceling like the xm4s did so you can’t manually adjust NC on the go. The headphones do adjust NC automatically but that little key feature would’ve been nice to see on these. These no longer have NFC connectivity, but still connect to two devices at once.
