For clearer calls, try resetting the Bluetooth connection and ensuring the headphones' firmware is up to date using the Sony Sound Connect app; you can find the troubleshooting steps on the following link: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wh1000xm5/v1/en/contents/TP1000534602.html. Also, make sure the microphone openings are clean and free from dust, and that you’re using the headphones in a quieter environment when possible, as background noise can affect performance.
