We're pleased to hear that you're enjoying the sound quality. However, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the WH-1000XM5 headphones shutting off unexpectedly, as well as any discomfort you've experienced.

To address this issue, we recommend disabling the Automatic Power Off setting. You can do this by using the Sony | Sound Connect app. Simply navigate to the My Device tab, select Device Settings, then System, and finally, choose the option for Automatic Power Off to select "Do not turn off."
