Great headphones but not for me

It’s annoying.

The sounds quality is amazing, absolutely top of the line comapred to any other retail marketed headphones out there, Bose, Apple, Beats, JBL, and other Sony products.

Hearing them for my self though, i was caught off guard by how utterly silent the ANC makes your surroundings. I use these daily for teams calls and music while working. I returned those and got these XM5s as a replacement, and I must say that these are without a doubt the best sounding headphones I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. The clarity of these headphones are amazing. These are far more superior than any Bose headphones you can buy, and far better than even the Sony XM4s I had previously. Very happy with this purchase.

Sound quality stays just as good with adjustability within the app. Unfortunately it doesn’t have optimizer noise canceling like the xm4s did so you can’t manually adjust NC on the go. The headphones do adjust NC automatically but that little key feature would’ve been nice to see on these. These no longer have NFC connectivity, but still connect to two devices at once.

These headphones come out on top, although by a surprisingly small margin. Unsurprisingly, Sony wins out on noise cancelling. A noisy plane, with a little bit of music, is completely drowned out. Fantastic for sleeping! Soundscape, this is largely subjective, but the area feels small.
