If water or foreign matter enters the headset, this can result in burnout or malfunction. Avoid situations such as the following and be careful not to get moisture or dirt on the headset. With four microphones on each earcup, this is our biggest ever step forward in noise cancelling. Ambient sound is captured even more accurately for a dramatic reduction in high-frequency noise. We're glad that you are enjoying the sound quality of the headphones. Your feedback about the touch controls and design is greatly appreciated. For optimum performance, make sure to install the latest software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app).

The sensor of the touch sensor control panel is built into the flat surface of the right unit. Operate within the range of the sensor.

These headphones are not sweatproof nor waterproof. Touching the headset with sweaty hands, or using the headset in situations where the headset may get soaked in sweat may result in malfunction. They can still be used while doing light exercises.

For more serious workouts or if you sweat a lot, we suggest our headphones that are specifically designed for these tasks like the WF1000XM4.
