Killer sound, icky headache

Love the Bose 700s but they’re fading fast. Everyone recommended the XM5s and for good reason— the eq is incredible and makes finding the right sound possible. ANC is very good, no issues with connectivity, overall solid product. My issue with the headphones is they are uncomfortable to wear for more than an hour. I use them for work and find I have a headache where the headband sits on the top of my head after about only an hour of wear. I don’t have a large head, more on the average/small size, but something about the headband pushes awkwardly on me and no amount of adjusting has fixed it. The earcups also sit a bit low on my head, even with the headband tight, so the top of the earcups sit right above my ears. To wear them for past a hour, I wear a ball cap with the XM5s over the top for a bit more cushioning to be comfortable. The ear cups are also a bit on the warm side to me and I don’t run hot as a person. I do recommend the product, but highly recommend trying them first.

I love the sound and fit especially. Simply stunning. I use a streaming music service that includes the 360 suround audio which is a nice plus. The app is as easy to pair and use as anything else, and these head phones are now my daily drivers. Definately worth the price for admission.

The headphones work great and he said the noise canceling is awesome! The zipper on the case broke right away…it’s almost as if the zipper was put on the inside. The sound quality, bass, clarity, 40 hr battery, noise canceling Im in a loud metal stamping factory and i only hear my music. The putting your hand over the right headphone to quiet down the music as well as noise cancelation, so you can hear whoever it is wanting to talk to you is an amazing great idea.

Turn up the volume of the headset and the connected device.
Connect the Bluetooth device to the headset once again.
Reset the headset.
Initialize the headset, and pair the headset and the device again.

I own both and the MX5 has far greater noise cancellation with the same tone quality as MX4. More ear cup space makes these retain less heat and therefore more comfortable. If youre flying as much as me, the noise cancellation is scary good on a plane (no crying babies). I highly recommend these headphones and the Sony app offers very adaptive tuning.

The Built-In Microphones in Both the Earpiece is an Innovative Masterpiece. One Example is, I owned a Pair of XM2 (of the multiple I've owned) for a period of 3Yrs& 2Months. and worked as good ax the Day I bought them. I'm Wheelchair Bound with a Back Pack affixed to the Back of the 'Chair'. Had it Not been for them being STOLEN out of the Back Pack while I was on a Community Transit Bus I WOULD Still have Them. I had taken them off & put in Bk Pk for just a minute due to mechanical Wheel Chair Problem. When after getting off the BUS & Trying to get them, They WERE GONE. NOW, I CAN SAY I'm Glad because I was checking for Headphones again after checking the 4 TOP BRANDS Over and Over SONY WINS 'Hands Down' over ALL Others. SONY Wins in ALL My CK Points, Style, Head and Ear Comfortability, Personal Cosmetic Appearance Value, Multiple Options for Every Imaginable Listening AND Hearing Preferences with the Microphones in the Ear Piece is ABSOLUTE GENIUS. The Pleasantries and Functionality Abound in This Excellent Display of Space Age Technology. SO, This is a testimony to the Days and Hours along with the Miles I put in Testing and Trying Out THE TOP BRANDS and Comparing Them. All to Find the BEST Headphones I could Buy and AGAIN SONY WINS, ALL the Others could Not Even Compare.
