I am not an audiophile but they sound great to me. A couple of great features are when you talk it pauses the music and turns on the microphone so you can hear yourself talk. Another is when you lift one side of the headphone it pauses the music until you put it back to your ear.

The included carry case is nice. Ear cushions are comfortable. Noise cancelling works just as good as my previous version. I'd recommend if you can find it at sale price.

Tends to break connected to support bar

My WH-1000XM3s are still going strong without any issues and are 5 years old. The XM5 feels cheaper in build and flimsy. Sure, the sound is slightly better than the X3s. But the durability is terrible. Slightly better sounds. Better ANC. Bad durability.
