The microphone is very good as well as the comfort and app capabilities. However, the sound quality is lower. They are also quite large and need a big box.

These would be great in an offic setting or for walks around the block. Their noise cancelling is good and i love their ability to stop noise cancelling when talking or being talked to. They're not the loudest headphones. If you want something loud for the gym I wouldn't recommend these.

They were originally purchased to replace my older Bose headphones, which has a weak battery. But all I hear is the noise around me, and it won't sit well on my head. I had high expectations for the Sonys, but the noise cancellation feature is far from spectacular - especially at this price point. It's also a pain to connect with Bluetooth and takes more time to charge. Back to the Bose. I've learned my lesson. Never again.

The issue of hearing excessive noise during calls is common when conferencing apps force the headphones into a lower-quality Bluetooth mode (HFP); we recommend manually checking your PC's sound settings to ensure the "Headset (WH-1000XM5 Hands-Free)" profile is selected before joining a call. Regarding the fit, ensure you gently adjust the headband sliders so the earcups achieve a complete seal around your ears, as this is crucial for optimal noise cancellation performance.

The noise cancelling is insane, the sound is so amazing, they are comfortable as heck. There is an app you can download and personalize the sound, it’s amazing. Only issue I ever have is they drown out too much noise- but that’s also great!

The sound quality and customizability with the EQ is good. ANC is also amazing. The only complaints that I have are that the ear cups make my ears sweat and it’s not really comfortable for extended use. The touch controls are also not my favorite because if I accidentally touch the side then the whole song is interrupted. Overall tho the headphones are great.

My main gripe is that the comfort of the earcups and headband is dinky. It kinda lives up the premium price tag, but shouldn't be 300+
