Amazing headphones for studying and keeping focus

I needed some to help me when I am studying, I can’t focus with to many sounds around me but I also can’t focus with music to loud. Even so while play lofi study music and having the noise cancellation on it did wonders. I couldn’t Hear anything and if I did it was so muffled that it wouldn’t distract me. I also love love the feature where you can put your hand on the headphones and it’ll let you listen to your surroundings. Many would say it’s annoying that they can’t hear the person talking to them to clearly or their surroundings but, let’s be real. These headphones are probably only for work use like studying or working and not really for everyday use like normal headphones. These are definitely meant to make your world quiet and muffled.

I purchased them thinking I could use them at the gym, but they’re prone to getting damaged, but they are really good headphones nonetheless!

They cancel out noise and are very loud. Battery last a long time. The only issue I had was connecting it to different devices, I had to download the Sony app.

The M5s sounds fantastic, great nose cancellation, the design is an overall improvement over the previous generation. The new carry case is also sleeker. One thing i miss about M4 is the NFC quick connect, M5 didn't have a nfc tap to connect.

Did not have the earlier version so I can’t compare however these headphones are comfortable and extremely quiet on planes where I use them the most. After asking around and trying another major competitor I settled on them. The sound quality is as you’d expect from higher end headphones from Sony, very good. I love the deeper end of the sound. I use them when I work outside because I love the noise canceling. It removes at least half the noise from the lawnmower. I was told they wouldn’t work well with my Xbox because the dialogue would be off. That is wrong. I use them every day and never notice any dialogue or other sounds being “off”. It was well worth what I paid.
