The Best Headphones on the Market

I purchased 3 sets - one for me and two for my kids. The quality of the sound and the level of noise canceling are great. The battery life is unbelievable.

This type of electronic equipment shouldn't need very many updates which is one of Sony's weaknesses. From my own experience, Sony tends to sell you great (expensive) products but instead of trying to keep them current with updates, they want to sell you a new version.

Best headphones I’ve ever owned

I’m in a park, watching the leaves on the trees rustling in the wind… but i hear only the audio coming from my headphones. There is no need for very high audio volume, when you have the top of the line noise cancelling headphones. I use them everyday. Battery charges so fast and lasts all day and even the next.

Only small drawback is the headband, after a long movie or gamming session the head band digs into my head almost that gives a slight discomfort. other than that, its fantastic

Great noise canceling headphones

The microphone is very good as well as the comfort and app capabilities. However, the sound quality is lower. They are also quite large and need a big box.

It’s great to hear how much you appreciate the new lightweight design—that's a huge win for long sessions, especially for workouts where comfort and reduced bulk are key!
And you've absolutely nailed a key point about the controls. It's frustrating when a core feature like Noise Cancellation requires you to dig into an app instead of being instantly available on your phone's audio dashboard. Just to make sure you know, you can bypass the app for the basic NC/Ambient switch! There's a dedicated NC/AMB button on the top of the left earcup—Pressing that button will quickly cycle between: Noise Cancelling ON, Ambient Sound Mode (where you hear surroundings) and Noise Cancelling OFF (if you've enabled that setting in the app).
Hopefully, using that physical button makes those mid-workout adjustments much faster for you!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound, amazing customizable sound in the sony app. it’s sleek it’s comfortable unless you sweat a lot at the gym. reason why this doesn’t have a 5 star review is the build quality. but i understand if it were to be anything but plastic it would probably be too heavy on the head. i had that problem with the airpod maxes and i prefer the xm5s much more.
