Absolutely loving this headset! Sounds amazing, using the app I connect to my computer and phone simultaneously and have seemless use between the 2, taking phone calls, teams calls and music listening. I love the simple quality of life features on it, such as, taking off the headset automatically pauses my music, then it resumes when I put it back on. Pausing and toggling the noise cancellation has been wonderful for my work environment as well. Highly recommend stepping up to this model if you're looking at the Sony brand line.

Purchased this almost exactly 6 months to the day and the THIN part of the headband snapped in my hands as i was putting the headphones on... just ridiculously bad design. now they want me to pay $100 just to fix it... so pretty much the unit ends up being $400... absolutely worthless other design issues There's no way to quickly turn on and turn off the touch controls, so if it's raining and you put a hoodie on it will continuously trigger the touch controls and will shuffle everything around similar to the above issue is the direction that the pads rotate; the pad rotate so that the touch controls are against your body, meaning the touch controls would get triggered randomly when your moving around! this also means the hard part of the pads are again your clavicle, which kinda hurts when you're moving around, or running. Positives Good sounds quality Good noise canceling feature, but not as good as the WH-1000XM4, in my opinion Honestly if you're looking into getting sony headphones, i would just the WH-1000XM4. but i wouldn't really bother getting any other sony products for myself.

Excellent sound quality and much more lighter to wear. The best part of these headphones is that you can control the EQ on these headphones to create and hear your own personal sounds.

The sound quality is amazing. If you get them with a discount is way worth it. However, be careful! This model is pretty susceptible to break from the hinges, and it is pretty expensive to repair!!

These headphones were amazing, the sound quality was so clear and the fact that you could customize the sound and change it based on what you are listening to is what really drew me in. Personally I like to purchase items based off of quality at an affordable price, I will say that these are little more on the $$$ side but it is 100% worth it if you value great sound quality. Overall the default setting for the sound is really good but the fact that you can select from multiple pre-made settings as well as customize your own is a really unique and thoughtful feature, it allows you to play with the sounds of the music and adjust them to fit your specific listening style. Not only is the quality of the sound impeccable but the style and comfort of the headphones is also very modern and comfortable. From the stone/tan color that looks great and doesn't leave any visible grease marks from your fingers or face to the soft, pillowy cushioning around the hears and headband that makes you forget your wearing headphones at all. Another great feature is the touch responsive surface on the sides of the headphones, it is super helpful and does away with the bulkiness of buttons and on a single charge these headphones have lasted through an entire roadtrip from Houston to Orlando. Overall I highly recommend these headphones, and while they might be on the pricey side they are worth every penny, nickel and dime. I love them and I know they will last for a LONG time with me!!

These headphones were very comfortable to wear for a very long flight. They sound amazing and have good noise canceling features. The case is very premium and fits well in my backpack. The app that sony made isnt the best but the headphones still work great without doing much in the apl.

I really love the sony 1000xm5 headphones! I was going to get the XM6s but unless you are in a super noisy environment like a airplane or airport save your money and buy these! Ive had them for 2 months now and get completely in my zone at the gym i use them everyday for about a hour and a half and leave them in my gym bag only having to charge like every 2 weeks battery life is amazing. The sony app lets you customize the sound profiles noise cancellation! As far as sweat goes i havent had any trouble with it the leatheresk earcups makes moisture just roll off I love these headphones im definitely going team sony over apple and beats

Purchased these over the Apple Airpod Pro Max, even as a heavy Apple product user. I was torn between the MX5’s and Apple Pro Max. Watched several reviews from audiophiles and they all pointed towards the MX4’s and MX5’s for sound quality. Their recommendations did not let me down, these sound amazing. While Apples headphones sound great, the constant power drain on the Max’s is a no go. Having to recharge every few days without even using them was a terrible design.

Bought this after going through various noise cancelling headphones and without a doubt it is the best for price range. The best part is how comfortable and light they are and the features like the adaptive sound make it easy to enjoy ur music and still have conversation. They are super user friendly, anyone can pick them up out of the box and use them.

[Employee of bestbuy] Bought these headphones with already high expectations as i needed headphones to work on homework while being at school and these exceeded my expectations and the noise cancellation is super good on them only complaint is the feature to volume down and up and fast forward etc you have to watch a video on it to explain the whole concept to you but overall really good headphones and theyre better than the airpod pro maxs!!

I was very happy with these headphones, but they snapped after 22 months. These unfortunately lasted less than my XM3 and XM4 pairs. It feels like the prices continue to increase while the build quality decreases. Aside from breaking much sooner than they should've they had fantastic battery life and sound quality.
