Broken Headband within a few months

It ended up breaking and when I contacted customer service they said it was "cosmetic damage" and they could not fix it. So I ended up buying a new pair and they just broke. I swear to you I did not do anything unusual. I did not sleep with them. I always used the case. I legit had them on and I myself fell. (the headphones did not) and the hinge part just broke off. I paid over 300 dollars for this to say I am disappointed would be an understatement.

If the headset automatically connects to the last connected Bluetooth device, you may fail to connect the headset to other devices via Bluetooth connection. If this is the case, operate the last connected Bluetooth device and disconnect the Bluetooth connection.
If the pairing information for the headset has been deleted on the Bluetooth device, pair the headset with the device again. These worked great for the first 12 months. but then the left hinge broke. For background I bought these for work and they stay at my desk. No travel just work calls on teams and some music. It seems crazy to me that they broke. I called Sony support and they clamed it was due to regular aware and tear and said it would be a min of 100 dollars to repair them plus shipping. I looked it up and this seems to break FTC laws.
