Worth it, but not to the point where its the only option !

XM4 vs XM6

They have a lot of update features in comparison to the XM4’s and a tighter fit on the head. They also have a smoother transition in between devices and no speaker pops or cracks. However, they were too tight for my head and I did not enjoy the AI feature of the headphones. The voice became quite annoying and the headphones were so tight that they caused a headache. I also noticed that they may have been quieter, in comparison to the XM4’s. If you want some headphones more on budget, go for the XM4’s, as they are really high-quality as well. If you can afford the XM6’s, stick with them. Skip straight over the XM5’s, as they have a lot of faulty designs.

Absolute Dual Noise Cancellation

I still prefer the look of the blue though.

For further optimization, you can use the Sony | Headphones Connect app to run the "NC Optimizer" function, which tailors the noise canceling to your specific head shape, hairstyle, and even whether you're wearing glasses.

Step up from the XM5s

They let me down in a lot of ways (sound quality and the hinge for starters). Then I started seeing leaks for the XM6 and I was like “okay one last try”. I’m very glad I did. These are bar none the best cans I’ve owned. I owned AirPods Max and sold them, had B&W Px7 and gave them away for poor noise cancelling. The XM6 finally achieved everything I was looking for in over-ear headphones

Amazing noise cancellation. And sound.

Before this I’ve been using AirPods, Beats Studio buds and Corsair headphones to try and drown out the noise of my busy household, but these almost make it feel like not a thing is around me. Not to mention the sound quality, I know all the other earbuds and headphones I used before weren’t anything great but these straight up made me stop using my earbuds when walking to the store or when on a long drive (passenger).

Great pair of headphones

Not that I had any complaints with my old pair, but these are awesome. They're super comfortable and sound great. They also have a better EQ to control the sound with in app. The new case is pretty good too. I like the magnetic clasp instead of a zipper. These are great for listening to music, watching a movie, flying on a plane, or just blocking out most of your surroundings while working or studying.
