Amazing headphones

Amazing if your ears are small enough.

However, if you have slightly larger ears, these may be uncomfortable for you. There are multiple mic's inside the earcup that my ears pressed against making the headphones extremely uncomfortable to wear after only a few minutes. I hate to admit it but I returned them and went with the Bose QC Ultra 2 only because of the larger ear opening. The Bose ANC is not as good as the Sony, but I can ACTUALLY WEAR THEM.

The headphones themselves don’t breathe well so I felt like my head was cooking when I had them on. The noise cancellation was good, but not the best and for the price I expected a lot more. I returned them after two days.

Great sound quality. Terrible comfort
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Sony XM6 headphones have great ANC and I was very impressed by the sound quality once I tuned it to my liking via the Sony app. However, I had to return the XM6 because wearing them for any extended period of time was actually hurting my ears no matter how I adjusted the fitting. They have very thin padding and the ear cups are so shallow that my ears were pressing against the ANC mics in the headphones. If I pay more than $400 for a product I prefer that it doesn't inflict pain when I use it. I decided to replace the XM6 with the Bose QC Ultra which do not quite match the XM6 when it comes to sound quality but I can wear them without any discomfort which is a great plus!

Sounds are great, mic is not good.

I have been on calls with people from my iPhone and I have had complaints about not hearing me at all and when I have connected it to my computer, people complained that I sound far away. Also it seems to cut off while on the phone it would switch over to the iPhone speaker on its own, without me doing anything. And I don’t what it is about those headphones, but they drain my iPhone battery so bad! I only listen to music on it mainly and by noon it’s already down to 65% after starting the morning around 9:30am at 100%. So despite the new mic system, I can’t recommend these.
