Thanks for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear you're experiencing distortion with your new WH1000XM6 headphones. That's definitely not the listening experience we want you to have—especially since you've noted that they sound great with a wired connection.

Since you're hearing distortion specifically over Bluetooth, here are a few things to check that might help: In the Sony | Sound Connect app, go to Settings and look for a setting called Bluetooth Connection Quality. If it's set to "Prioritize Sound Quality (LDAC)," try switching it to Prioritize Stable Connection. You can reset the Headphones and Disable DSEE Extreme as well!

Beyond that welcome fix, you'll benefit daily from the practical return of the fully foldable design, making them much easier to travel with, and a noticeably improved touch control experience for volume and playback. These minor but important refinements, alongside the superior ANC, really solidify the XM6 as a worthwhile upgrade.
