I recently had purchased the XM5 few days prior to ordering the XM6. The wider headband on the XM6 tends hold in place while running a 5k compared to the shorter head band on the XM5. In summary if your looking for a overear headphones that tends to feel apart of you even if your doing physical activities. This one might be for you.

Thanks for your comment. If you didn't order the WH-1000XM6 headphones, we recommend checking with the retailer to make sure everything is correct. That said, they're among our top wireless noise-cancelling models and many users enjoy their sound quality and comfort. Hopefully, they turn out to be a great fit for you.
