Amazing sound blocking (for me that is XD)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.sounds great! mostly used it with the cellphone while outside^^ has some good noise blocking when you are n a car with 3 people all talking on the phone and one driving with the call coming though the car speakers...couldn't hear JACK! XD sadly tho i had to return them since i wanted to use them on the pc but couldn't get them to connect to the elder one T^T

Great build quality and sound, not a bad first buy

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was my first major purchase of a high end headphones this should be a 4 1/2 starts, the build quality is amazing I do not regret my purchase. The only thing i have to say is that the noise cancelling is very noticeable when entering in to different environments with different active noises; where you will suddenly hear the back ground noise at a higher volume than expected. Also make sure you try on the headset before you buy if you have large or protruding ears to make sure its conformable for you, I am noticing that this may have been an issue for me after a hour or two of wear.

Exceptional experience over QC35s.

The sound quality is way superior and the noise cancelling is absolutely amazing. Flew with the XM6 and it was honestly very good. They cancel out all the constant background noises but also human chatter. The ambient sound mode is exceptional as well! Walked around the airport with the headphones on in the ambient mode and could hear all the chatter around me very very clearly.

Totally Worth It!

I also love the added silence I get at the end of my day when I have my much needed me time.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Alright the noise canceling capabilities are unbelievable, the ambient mode sounds nearly completely natural, i heard a leaky faucet while in ambient with music playing, the don't sound so airy, the bass is solid and the new background music mode seems useful. The ai powered theater mode (spacial audio) seems hit & miss but isn't terrible.

Totally worth it!

I need to figure out the touch control shortkeys became if my shoulder hits the ourside cup it stops, fwds, or rewinds what im listening to. So thats kind of annoying. But i never read the instructions until I dont figuring things out 'naturally'. Noise cancellation is top notch.

Used it for 5 days without needing to charge. The noise cancel seems to be the same as the xm5 didn't notice much of a difference. The headphones can rotate so the cuffs are pointing in which is better than the xm5 because there were times when it would accidentally start tapping and playing a song or whatever. I like how they still give the option to use a jack if wired is your thing or you can't charge it but want to still use them. The issue's I've had seem to be more from the manufacturing. I had to return it after a week because the headphones had a consistent crackling sound and when I checked online I saw this was a common issue. The second pair i got I hear white noise occasionally which I was told are the microphones adjusting for noise cancelling. My second set also had issues with the different NC levels with the left side letting in more noise than the right. I've heard it's due to possible dust and debris which Is weird because I've only had this second pair for a week and kept it in the case. Might have to return this one too as I can't seem to fix the NC leaking on the left ear.

For the white noise and noise-canceling issues, here are a few things we can try.
1. Restart your headphones.

3. Update the firmware: Make sure your headphones are running the latest firmware version through the Sony | Sound Connect app.
