The noise cancelation is superior to all other headphones and an upgrade to the previous ones as well. I got the black finish. love the snug fit and more of an option for different size heads as well. Just over all best buy I've had thus far.

The Sony WH-1000XM6 are hands down some of the best all-around headphones I’ve ever owned. The noise cancellation is incredible and has been a total game changer for work. Once I put them on, I can really lock in and focus without distractions, even in noisy environments. The sound quality is excellent across the board, but what really surprised me is the cinema mode. Watching movies with these feels immersive and rich, almost like a personal theater experience. Everything sounds clear, detailed, and balanced, whether it’s dialogue, music, or effects. Best Noise Canceling

The noise canceling is just excellent, it blocks out background sounds almost completely. I also really like how the battery life last soo long I barely charge it.

Best Headphones in the market right now

I've been using the Airpods Max for years because of the said features and I'm glad to made the switch with the XM6. Much, much better and more comfortable than the Airpods Max. And the carrying case is a huge plus.

She like how the headphone controls work and the seamless integration with all her devices. Downside - because of how the headphones fold , they would not stay “square” on her head. They had a tendency to “twist” while she was wearing them which she found very annoying. Eventually returned & got Bose QV Ultra 2nd Fen.

Is good but need better design

The confort is no good, the ear touch the cloth that come inside, need to be deeper, the ear cups are small and don't cover of the ear.

Extremely Good - Coming from Xm5

Battery Life is Excellent, Sound is even better and Sony's new Cinema Feature in the app for listening is amazing for Movies!

Nice headphones

Noise is canceled pretty well. My only issue is every time I cough, sneeze or any other sudden sound around me the ambient sound shifts automatically turning noise canceling feature off. I have manually turn noise canceling back on. It would be nice to be set the ambient sound control to stay on noise canceling no matter what sound is happening around me.

Regarding your experience with noise canceling automatically switching off when you cough, sneeze, or there’s a sudden loud noise: this is an intended function of the adaptive sound controls, which are designed to optimize your listening experience and situational awareness by temporarily adjusting settings in response to certain environmental triggers.
We recognize that this auto-switching can sometimes be disruptive for users who prefer uninterrupted noise canceling. While it’s not currently possible to fully disable these auto-adjustments and keep NC mode continuously on, we encourage you to update both your headphones and the Sony | Sound Connect app to the latest version, as newer firmware may offer improved control or adjustments over these features. You can also review the adaptive sound and noise canceling options in the app settings—disabling features like Adaptive Sound Control or Speak-to-Chat may help minimize these unwanted changes.

Great replacement for Apple AirPod Max

The noise canceling is next level – I can throw them on anywhere and it’s like the outside world disappears. The sound quality is super clear with great bass, and everything I listen to just sounds better on these. They’re really comfortable too, even after wearing them for hours. Battery life is awesome – I barely have to think about charging. Pairing is super easy and the touch controls make them simple to use. If you’re looking for headphones that do it all – comfort, sound, and noise canceling – the Sony WH-1000XM6 is totally worth it! I purchased these to replace my Apple AirPod Max, and I’m not disappointed.

Transparency actually sounds like it IMPROVES my hearing. These are worth every penny. Love the fit, and I have a big head. Sound is great for me, noise cancelling pushed to the test at a trampoline park on a Saturday.
