Headphones for Android only unfortunately

The noise cancelling was similar. This probably has to do with lack of support of non Apple codecs. But disappointing nonetheless.

Sound and features make these totally worth it

The Beats worked pretty well for me, but ive been itching to upgrade for a while. I went a bit out of my budget for these, but its been worth it. Noise Cancelling is fantastic. These block out almost everything, especially if you have music on. Literally just walked by a random giant firework going off in my neighborhood and heard nothing from it. Noise cancellation also helps the microphone when you're in calls. I can walk down the street with traffic going by and still have a conversation. This was certainly impossible with my Solos. The sound is great. It's a huge improvement from my Beats. The sound is really clear, and I can really hear each part of the song coming together (vocals, instruments, etc.) These also have 360 audio which is pretty neat. Im not sure if i need that, but I like it. I walk a lot and constantly have music going, and these are pretty comfortable. I've had no issues with how they feel when im wearing them, but I haven't gone longer than 1-2 hours at a time. They dont clamp too hard or pull on your ears or anything. They do get my ear area sweating a bit in the 90-100 degree weather I'm living in, but that's to be expected with noise cancelling. I've never been unable to use them because of this though, and it gets about as hot here as anywhere so you'll probably be fine. My only complaint is pretty minor, these aren't super comfortable resting around your neck when you'e not using them. It's fine for a little while, but certainly can't keep them there all day and forget about them like most my other over ear sets. I'm extremely happy with these and am still making excuses to use them. Most purchases the honeymoon period is pretty short, but I'm so stoked to have these.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had multiple iterations of Bose over the years, QC35s the last few years and they've been good but I always felt lacking. I tried the QC Ultra and returned as I didn't find much difference from the 35s. Picked up the Sonys today and I'm literally blown away by the audio quality with spotify. I look forward to my next trip to give them the full run on a flight. But, so far I'm extremely happy with these. Pricey, but worth it. Very comfortable as well.

The current design uses integrated microphones optimized for voice and call clarity, but the performance may not match expectations for every use case—especially in noisy or dynamic environments or when compared to dedicated desktop microphones.
During calls, Bluetooth connection protocols can limit microphone bandwidth, and the Sidetone feature (which can be disabled in the Sony Sound Connect app) may further affect how your voice sounds. Unfortunately, bypassing the built-in microphone with an external mic is not supported when using the headphones wirelessly.
We suggest that you regularly update your headphones and software, ensure that your headset is selected as the input device in your call application settings, and clean the microphone area. I recently had purchased the XM5 few days prior to ordering the XM6. The wider headband on the XM6 tends hold in place while running a 5k compared to the shorter head band on the XM5. In summary if your looking for a overear headphones that tends to feel apart of you even if your doing physical activities. This one might be for you.
