Best Sounding Headphones

I was very happy with my Beats Studio 3 headphones, but it was time for an upgrade. My only complaint with these are that they are not rated for water resistance which makes me reluctant to use it at the gym. The battery life is great and the app that you can download really lets you tailor the sound to your liking.

While these headphones are designed for premium audio and noise cancellation, they are not rated for water or sweat resistance, so we do recommend avoiding use during intense workouts to protect the internal components. For the gym, we suggest checking out our IP-rated earbuds which are specifically built to handle moisture.

Best in-class ANC and more durable hinges

The XM3 lasted me for over 3 years now and they are fantastic. The hinges on those headphones were cracking so I decided to replace them with these XM6. The noise cancellation on the new headphones is superior, the hinges are designed much better, and they are more comfortable on the ear. I especially like the adaptive noise canceling feature that adjusts the noise cancelation and ambient noise based on your surroundings. The Bluetooth connection is strong and you can connect to two sources at the same time. The included hard case is strong and durable for travel. The only negative about these headphones is the cost. Perhaps during Black Friday, they will go lower.

Comfortable with great ANC and sound

Great for First Buyers. Bad for Upgraders

The sound quality is great around this price range, and the noise cancelling is the amongst the best. If you're purchasing a pair of headphones for the first time in this price, the XM6 is the best overall pick for most. However I feel like there will be a lot of people upgrading from the XM5. If you already have a pair of XM5, I would not upgrade to XM6. The most significant upgrade is the noise cancelling, but the XM5 already has great noise cancelling. At this point, I can't be impressed with better noise cancelling alone. I need better sound quality, and the XM6 doesn't offer a significant upgrade in that department. They sound too similar. If there are any XM5 owners out there, please save your money.

Great pair of headphones

Not that I had any complaints with my old pair, but these are awesome. They're super comfortable and sound great. They also have a better EQ to control the sound with in app. The new case is pretty good too. I like the magnetic clasp instead of a zipper. These are great for listening to music, watching a movie, flying on a plane, or just blocking out most of your surroundings while working or studying.

The noise cancelling is excellent. Battery life is excellent. Sound quality is excellent. One thing these have over the Airpod Max is that you can customize the audio levels. The only knock I have is that they show smears easily.

I have not had one problem with them yet and the noise cancellation works great! They even have their own app that tells you everything you need to know about your headphones. I bring them with me wherever I go. I've also had them since November and have only had to charge them twice! I definitely recommend buying these! They're a great investment!

The fact that they're so light and carry a punchy sound make them even more awesome. I was going back and forth between this and the apple airpod Max's but they were too heavy and didn't have a deeper bass compared to the Sony's. I got them for my wife as I still use my XM4's. I can say sound wise it isn't a huge upgrade from the XM4's but they've upgraded the noise cancellation and the sidetone feature drastically. Solid buy nonetheless and my wife loves it which is the most important thing as a husband haha
